Terms of Service
1. Services. HomePlate Financial LLC provides accounting, bookkeeping, payroll administration, and financial advisory services as described in your engagement letter.
2. Engagement. Services are provided month-to-month per the scope in your engagement letter. Either party may end the engagement with 30 days' written notice.
3. Fees. Monthly fees are set in your engagement letter and billed in advance.
4. Your responsibilities. You agree to provide timely, accurate records and approvals. Statutory filing deadlines depend on receiving required information in time.
5. Not a CPA firm or law firm. Unless expressly stated in your engagement letter, services do not constitute audit, attestation, or legal services. We coordinate with your CPA or attorney where those are required.
6. Liability. Our liability for any claim is limited to fees paid for the affected service in the three months preceding the claim.
Privacy Policy
What we collect. Business and contact information, financial records, employee payroll data you provide, and information required for identity verification.
How we use it. Solely to deliver the services in your engagement letter, meet legal and tax obligations, and prevent fraud. We do not sell your data.
Sharing. Data is shared only with the processors needed to deliver services (such as payroll and payment providers) and with authorities where filings require it.
Security. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is limited to the team members assigned to your account.

Billing & Refund Policy
Monthly service fees are billed in advance and are refundable on a prorated basis if you cancel mid-month with notice. If we miss a committed deliverable deadline for reasons within our control, the affected month's fee for that service is credited.
